How does Sneakpeek Snap Work?

Sneakpeek snap is a push-button device that attaches to your arm and collects blood in 1-4 minutes proving to be a stress free and painless blood collection process.  The results are 99.9% accurate and it is safe for mom and baby.

What is the typical result timeline for SneakPeek testing?

​

SneakPeek samples must be dropped off at FedEx by 5:00 PM on weekdays and by 3:00 PM on weekends to be overnighted. Please note that SneakPeek is closed on Sundays, so if your sample is shipped over the weekend, you’ll want to allow for an extra day in the turnaround time for results.  For the smoothest process and to help guarantee overnight shipping, we recommend scheduling your blood draw early in the morning so your sample has plenty of time to make the cutoff.

What happens if my sample is inconclusive?

​

SneakPeek's inconclusive result is less than 2%.  If the test comes back inconclusive, SneakPeek will email you directly and they will provide a free retest.

 

What happens when Mom is having twins and wants to know the genders?

 

Sneakpeek looks for male DNA found in mom's blood sample.  For identical twins, if male DNA is found, both babies are boys.  If no male DNA is found, both babies are girls.  In the case of fraternal twins, if the sample comes back showing male DNA, then at least one baby is a boy, but will be unable to determine if the second baby is a boy or girl.
